The sudden arrival of baba was indeed a pleasant surprise for us all…Like many of the past Sundays this one was wrapped up with laughters, jokes, taunts, sarcasm and unlimited fun…At around 5pm we were all sitting at the terrace, surrounded by plants, the fresh breeze was fondling our skin and the blue skies with scattered clouds made it the ideal evening…With the perfect environment were the super perfect aalo ke parathay served by the maid and who could stop my brother from turning on the music …
Everything seemed so right. The joy and serenity on everyone’s face, baba feeding me little morsels of parathay from his own hands (That’s something he always does when he is at home. Yes, I’m the apple of his eye!) and every time he would dip my paratha in the chutney by mistake, mom would ultimately get me water since spicy food is just not my thing. The adorable stories of my seven years old brother and my older brother’s stories of his millions of crushes and crashes :p
I couldn’t thank Allah ji enough for blessing my family so much with peace and happiness.
